“I love helping the dogs get to the point where owners feel comfortable taking them out of the house to places such as farmers market, home depot, or one London. I want owners to not feel anxious about having their dog pull, be reactive, bark, etc. My goal is to give your dogs the best life possible.”

While studying Psychology at George Mason University, he pursued a focus on canine behavior, learning, and all forms of reinforcement. Alexander has always had a passion for dogs and learning starting from a young age. Alexander has had the pleasure of learning from three mentors, each with unique styles allowing for him to have a well-rounded approach to any problem with a focus on basic obedience, over-excitement, and leash aggression.
Alexander has worked in both the Springfield and North Bethesda training programs and is a key part of our Olde Towne Pet Resort family. No matter what your pet’s needs may be, Alexander can Taylor-Make specific training best suited for your dog.

My dog loves coming here! We did a 2-week stay and train, Alexander did a wonderful job with my 6 year old dog in getting him to begin breaking years old habits. After the stay, I met with Alexander for a good hour where he walked me through all the different exercises they did. Throughout the stay I received videos showing me progress and explanations of why he was doing each thing. All in all a great experience and we already have future stays booked!

We brought our Boston Terrier and Pekingese puppies for training and Alexander taught them both well. He showed us how to train them with the videos he would send throughout the day explaining what he was teaching the puppies and how he was going about it. We can now take our well mannared dogs anywhere thanks to Alexander’s training.

My experience with the Dulles Location has been amazing. Every time I bring in my mini Irish Doodle, Siena, I know she will be well loved and taken care of. Their on-site trainer, Alex, has been so helpful also! His puppy and adolescent classes have been very effective and his extra care and attention when Siena is day boarding or overnight boarding has been so helpful. I also love that they have webcams in day camp so I can check on her when she is there! From their on-site training classes, to day camp and day boarding, overnight boarding, and grooming, I can be at peace knowing she is in good hands!

My sweet/crazy Bernese Mountain Dog was trained by Alexander Crespo. Alexander specifically worked on leash training and “place” training with my puppy. Alexander was able to help with my puppy’s constant/strong leash pulling and got him to stay in his “place” in just the matter of a couple training sessions. I am very appreciative as my puppy is going to be a big dog and he was beginning to get to strong for me to handle when walking. My puppy also loves Alexander and is always so excited to see him at daycare, which makes me so happy and feel at ease to leave him in such a loving environment. I also really enjoyed receiving videos from Alexander during their training time together for me to see what my puppy was learning and to have as a reference when I was reinforcing the training at home. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend Alexander for all your doggy training needs!!!
