Dogs of all breeds and sizes enjoy and need exercise.
Olde Towne Pet Resort strongly encourages physical activity for
pets in our care in order to provide fun and stimulation, both physical
and mental, as well as help relieve possible separation anxiety.
Our building design and amenities reflect our focus on movement,
as does our insistence on a minimum of three walks a day for dogs
staying over-night with us.
CIRCUIT FITNESS TRAINING
For the Iron Dog Tri-athlete. Cardio-Jog, Agility Field Play
and Swim for a continuous hour of high energy movement. (20 minute
intervals of each activity).
AGILITY FIELD PLAY
Let us work-out your dog's mind and body on our outdoor, professional
grade agility equipment. Dogs with high energy and high intelligence
love the challenge. We offer this for fun and exercise rather than
for certified agility skills testing. (1/2 hour).
CARDIO JOG
Does your dog need to shed a few pounds or excess energy? Make your
dog's stay an active vacation with this one one one run around an
indoor and outdoor lap course with steady jogging and interval sprints.
(20-30 minutes)
WATER WORK-OUT & LAP-SWIMMING

Olde Towne Pet Resort boasts a four-foot deep, 20-foot long indoor
heated lap pool for movement therapy, exercise, and for fun and
games. Water-loving dogs and dogs with excess energy benefit, as
do dogs needing rehabilitation from injury or surgery or dogs suffering
from limited mobility, pain, or age-related physical restrictions.
All dogs wear special life-jackets. Your dog's attendant guides
your pet into the pool on a floating ramp. The water is ionized
so that any harsh chemicals are minimal as to not dry out your dog's
skin and coat. After swimming with your dog, the attendant brushes
out and dries your dogs coat.
Once reluctant dogs transform into water dogs! All breeds of dogs
swim here, from Miniature Poodles to English Bull Dogs to Labradors!
We welcome owners to watch their pets, but we cannot allow owners
to swim.
PLAY DATE
Dogs who do not play well with others and un-neutered male dogs
are invited to one-on-one exercise sessions with our energetic staff.
Please let us know about your dog's favorite games or toys.
DOGGIE DAY CAMP
If your dog-walker is out of town or your pet hates
to be left home alone, sign him or her up for Doggie Day Camp. Olde
Towne Pet Resort offers several rooms for dogs to play. Trained
supervisors ensure safe play. Doggie Day Camp includes indoor and
outdoor play, snack, and rest time. Doggie Day Camp runs our entire
business day, seven days a week.
BOARDER DAY CAMP
Boarding dogs can enjoy the fun of day camp, too! Sign up for an
individual play time or group play session. This is a great treat
for young dogs and for energetic dogs easily bored in their suites.
Boarder day camp runs for four hours per day all year long.
ADDITIONAL WALK
If you would like your dog to receive more walks than those included
in the suite packages, we would be happy to provide them.
