Employment Opportunities for Hospitality Professionals, Grooming and Training Professionals, and Animal Lovers

The following positions offer salaries commensurate with experience. We prefer applicants with comfort and experience with animals, as well as comfort and
experience with working in a team environment. We welcome applicants with
hotel management and hotel staff experience. We offer training. AM and PM
shifts available for some positions.

Front Desk Attendants/ Reservationist Responsibilities include taking reservations over the phone, in person, and on-line. Duties also include checking guests in and out, retail sales and cash handling. Will include some dog and cat handling. Comfort in a fast-paced environment and strong customer relation skills a must. Some computer experience and basic math competency strongly preferred.
Groomers Responsibilities include approximately five to seven dogs per day. Breed-standard clipping knowledge preferred, but will train. Three-five years plus hand scissor experience required for manager position.
Bathers Responsibilities include shampooing, washing, and air-drying of approximately 15 dogs per day. Comfort or experience with dogs and cats a must.
Dog Care Attendants Responsibilities include taking dogs in and out of their suites. Includes walking, brushing, feeding, and playing with dogs; cleaning suites. Comfort with animals required. Experience working with animals preferred.
Cat Care Attendants Responsibilities include taking cats in and out of their suites. Include brushing, feeding and playing with cats; as well as cleaning suites. Comfort with groups of cats required. Experience working with cats preferred.
Doggie Day Camp Attendants Responsibilities include monitoring of dog play and ensuring appropriate play. Personal or professional experience handling dogs required. Also requires cleaning of play areas, and common areas as well as direct customer contact.

Animal Care Supervisor Responsibilities include ensuring all pets have clean & comfortable living quarters, handled safely & humanely and that all promised services are provided. Prior supervisory experience a must.

Animal Care Specialist Primary Responsibility is to monitor and maintain the physical & behavioral well being of all OTPR guest. Familiarity with veterinary prescription medications, ability to administer subcutaneous injections. Skilled at safe and humane animal handling, including medication administration.
