The Fried family and Fried Companies, Inc. are committed to public service and community betterment.

For over five decades, the Frieds have devoted resources, time, and leadership in the public and private sectors to provide more affordable and accessible housing, education, and services to all members of the communities in which they have lived and worked.

Among their many personal projects, the Frieds co-founded Innisfree Village., a pioneering and international model where adults with mental disabilities live and work in a village community. They also established and run Charlottesville Area Riding Therapy (CART), a therapeutic horseback riding program for disabled adults and children.

Olde Towne Pet Resort shares the Fried family ethos of bettering the lives of both animals and people in our community. We welcome the opportunity to participate with local non-profits and are happy to donate our services for auctions.
