The Olde Towne Pet Resort held our Quarterly Employee Appreciation events on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 to honor our employees. It is all about them and the magic that they do every day to ensure our pets have wonderful experiences while they are with us.
In Springfield, we honored Liz Allen, Day Camp Associate, as our Employee of the Quarter. Liz has been with us seven years. She is recognized by her co-workers for her consistency, good attitude, going above and beyond her responsibilities and always being positive. Honorable mentions were Nia Gabor and Kathy Gibson who received multiple glowing nominations as well.
In Dulles, we honored Kellee Vickers, Pet Care Supervisor, as our Employee of the Quarter. Kellee celebrated her 1st year anniversary and was on the Dulles opening team. The nominations for Kellee were overwhelming and virtually unanimous. She is a true team player and respected by all her co-workers.
Town Hall messages were delivered by the respective General Managers, Dixie Eng and Ellen Haynes. The company is celebrating the Tenth Year Anniversary at the Springfield resort and One Year at the Dulles Resort. In recognition of the Ten Year Anniversary of Olde Towne Pet Resort, we reviewed the Ten Service Values of Olde Towne Pet Resort. Recognition and prizes were given to the associates who could recite the service values.
Both resorts served lunch, honored their Employee of the Quarter and distributed paychecks and tips.
Olde Towne Pet Resort recognizes associates on a quarterly and annual basis for outstanding service. Employees participate through a nomination process at each location. The Employee of the Quarter receives a certificate of recognition and a check for $250 in recognition.
In addition to recognition and honoring a co-worker, employees come together for a luncheon and fellowship with employees who they may not see on a regular basis due to shift work. Olde Towne Pet Resort is staffed 24/7 to provide services for our guests and their owners.
