A Belated, Warm Thank You to Loudoun County’s Chamber of Commerce President Tony Howard

Our new Dulles pet boarding location has been so busy since its Grand Opening this past October 1 that much of the weeks after opening the facility have been somewhat of a blur. Nevertheless, we have not forgotten about our wonderful red-ribbon cutting ceremony a few days before our opening. That event was made extra special by Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce’s President, Tony Howard, who dropped by and spent his afternoon with us to celebrate, commemorate and help us cut the ribbon!

The opening of our Dulles location was a massive undertaking. We’ve written about the opening extensively on this blog but in the event you’d like to learn a little more about the personal story behind the Dulles opening, you may want to check out our NOVADog Blog entry entitled “The Personal Side of a Pet Resort’s Grand Opening.” Our founder and President, Ms. Leah Fried Sedwick, shares some endearing comments about her family and its quest to expand Olde Towne Pet Resort’s operations into Loudoun County.

You may also enjoy the recent write up about Dulles and the Fried family patriarch who inspired the original concept for Olde Towne Pet Resort more than 9 years ago on the I Am Modern Magazine article online entitled “A Labor of Love: Olde Towne Pet Resort. ”

Tony, from our entire management staff, pet care supervisors, counselors and assistance, we THANK YOU for having been part of what surely was for us a special day and a significant milestone in Olde Towne Pet Resort operations.
